Dear Husband,

Hey dad! Today is Father's Day, and I wanted to write you a letter. You are awesome in so many ways, but today is about focusing on how awesome you are as a daddy.

... and awesome you are. The awesomest actually.

You give us your all every single day.

No matter how busy you are, you make time.

You know when to put down what you're doing and play catch in the yard. Because sometimes, that's just more important.

You know how to encourage the boys and keep them from giving up.

When you're tired or don't feel well, you still show up in every way.

You inspire their love for learning by teaching them new things.

You do things you don't want to do, because you know it's important to them.

You show them the importance of hard work, but you also show them how to have fun!

Bringing home surprises is one of your specialties! You are always thinking of us, and it shows.

You love me. Their mommy. You speak to me kindly, ensure I have all that I need, and support me every day. What a great example to set for our little boys!

You hold us all to a higher standard... to be the best that we can be.

You protect them and always have their best interests in mind.

No matter what obstacle is presented, you show them how to persevere and never give up.

You teach them how to be silly.

You give them structure and boundaries.

You have their back and teach them how to have each others.

One of the most important things you do is pay attention. You pay attention to their actions, their feelings, their needs and what is important to them. You see all.

The role you play in their lives is irreplaceable! We are so blessed to have a father like you as the head of our family. Although they don't understand now, when they grow up and look back at their childhood, they will always know what an amazing daddy they had.

Thank you for being you. Thank you for always giving them your best.

I love you dad. Happy Father's Day!

All my love,

Ma
