10 Unique Valentine's Day Gifts For Him

Do you struggle with what to buy your significant other during holidays? I know I sure do! As I scroll through options, it seems like my husband either already has it or just wouldn't care for it.

I tend to make it harder for myself too. I put a lot of pressure on myself to think outside of the box and come up with different ideas. If you have a hard time like I do, I thought you might appreciate a well thought out list.

This list is made up of unique gifts you can buy, as well as, fun and personal DIY gifts!

I am a huge cheeseball and love making my hubby gifts, although I must admit since we've had kids I've really been slacking in that department.

All DIY gifts mentioned are ones I have given my husband over the years on different occasions.

Unique Valentine's Day Gifts For Him

Da Vinci Code Mini Cryptex

The code for this puzzle box is set to "iloveyou" but can easily be changed. This would be super cute with a code that means something to you guys and a sweet note inside.

Deck of Cards- 52 Things I Love About You

To make this gift, you will simply need a deck of cards (new or old), a sharpie, a whole punch, and something to bind the cards.

To bind mine, I used a binder ring like this one. It made the cards easier to flip, but you could easily use hemp, lace, or something else creative.

Viking Celtic Hand Forged Knife

For all the men in our lives who vibe with the vikings. I actually bought this for my hubby for Christmas. He loved it! It's pocket sized and can also be worn around your neck.

Homemade Coupon Book

An oldie but a goodie. You could use blank index cards, create something in Microsoft Word, or purchase blank coupons like these fancy ones.

Make it fun! Of course, you probably want some mommy/daddy stuff in there, but don't forget other great ideas like taking care of his least favorite chore for him.

Man Candle Gift Set

Man candles? These sound awesome. The wicks crackle like a fire and the scents are masculine. I might have just found what I'm getting my hubby for V-day!

Entry A Day Diary

This one takes a little time. The one I gave to my husband years ago had several months worth of entries, but this is something that can be as thick or thin as you choose. A month's worth of entries would be plenty!

When I did this, we were dating and not living with each other yet. So, on days that I didn't have much to talk about, I simply wrote that I missed him or a nice thought that I had.

This can be whatever you want it to be! It's pretty cool to look over and see all of the thoughts compiled together. Here's a small leather journal to get you started!

Cuff Bracelet

I don't think of buying my husband jewelry often, but I should because he spices it up more than I do! A cuff bracelet like this is great for every day wear or just to dress up a special occasion.

Sticky Note Collage

I chose the bathroom mirror for my collage, but you could do it anywhere.

Fill the sticky notes with your favorite memories and all the reasons why you love your significant other!

You're going to need plenty of these...

Emergency Survival Kit

This kit has a lot of great tools in it! Plenty of stuff for your someone to tinker around with. This would also be great to keep in a vehicle!

Quote/Song on Canvas

When I made this for my husband, we were still dating and didn't have a song yet. So, I chose a quote that meant something to me. It turned out great! You can use paint, stickers, or sharpies!

I really like the idea of putting our song on a canvas, so that's something for me to get working on!
