The Best Rebate Apps You Should Download Today
Fun fact: I used to be an extreme couponer! I LOVED it so much, but it takes a lot of time and planning. With a household to take care of, school, and work, it became a hobby of the past. Still, I love to find ways to save money. So today, I want to share three of the best rebate apps I have used!
These rebate apps are super easy to use, and you don't have to buy things you wouldn't typically buy to get money back. Instead, they give you money back on purchases you planned to make anyway.
Ibotta
**UPDATE: My lifetime earnings are now $1337.01!!
I have used Ibotta the longest-- my lifetime earnings are $633.46! I've also earned the most cashback with this app. I'm sure you can Google and find others whose lifetime earnings far exceed mine; however, I must reiterate, I don't go out of my way to purchase items I wouldn't usually purchase. So, the money I have earned is strictly from grocery and online purchases that would have been made with or without the app.
Everyone has different savings goals. Personally, I save my earnings each year on Ibotta to put towards Christmas gifts.
When redeeming your money from Ibotta you have the option to transfer directly to your bank account, PayPal, or redeem for a wide selection of gift cards.
The Rundown:
Select rebates at stores you typically shop. In some cases, you can link your store account-- like Publix. For all other stores, you simply upload your receipt to match the offers you selected. It's that easy!
When shopping online, check the app to see if the website is currently offering a rebate for purchases. My son spent a birthday gift card shopping online at Academy a few days ago, and they were offering a 0.5% cashback rebate on all purchases. (Not a lot, but more than nothing!)
Ibotta also offers bonus rebates of all kinds. Search through them to get an idea of how you can maximize your savings.

Fetch Rewards
I haven't used Fetch Rewards as long or earned as much, but it's so easy it would be silly of me not to use it!
The Rundown:
You literally can shop anywhere. Just snap the receipt and earn at least 25 points. Points can be redeemed for a wide variety of gift cards. The best part, you don't have to select any rebates before submitting a receipt.
I have noticed that sometimes the app will miss a rebate, often times because the receipt doesn't list a clear description of the product. It's easily fixed by clicking "correct receipt." When I've had to correct a receipt, Fetch Rewards has never declined my correction.
You can also link an email address to search for e-receipts.

Honey
Sometimes I forget about Honey, just because of how easy it is, and it does most of the work for me! There is an app, but the real work is done in the browser extension.
The Rundown:
Honey is so easy! When you go to a website, it automatically searches a database of coupons. When a coupon is available, you’re basically getting free money! Also, when you shop on Amazon, the extension alerts you if a product is available at a lower price somewhere else.

The Best Rebate Apps
Personally, I feel the little work that goes into redeeming rebates in these apps is well worth the free money! If you already use these apps let me know! If there is one I'm not using... and I should be... please let me know that too!
Also, if you have any questions about using the apps, I am happy to help!
